I got the bass itch again. Found the same bass as I played "back in the day", a 1978 Fender fretless P-bass, unlined maple neck, all orginal in incredible condition. Now if I can only find an old original SVT + 8/10 cabinet...

Good for you! I had a 25-year layoff, and picked the bass up again in 1998. It's kind of like riding a bike - but takes much longer to get back up to speed.
