Well:
Let's not talk age (GRIN). But after 25 years of not playing, I just purchased a Squier VM Jazz bass and Crate BT50 amp.
My wife thinks I lost my mind, my kids think it's "cool," and I'm just trying to reclaim a piece of me that has been MIA for a long time.
Most of my activity in music has been passive (big digital, MP3 music fan) and I'm looking forward to playing again. A bonus is that one of my sons is starting to turn into a pretty fair drummer. Now if my other son picks-up an interest in guitar or keyboards....who knows!?
Looking forward to learning/relearning in this forum as I start the journey! |
