Not really new to playing bass, but stink at it enough that I might as well be. I've actually just started getting "serious" with it in the past few months. Mostly tabs and GP5 learning at this point, although I have taken lessons in a previous life.
A buddy of mine in San Antonio has a punk-ish band and has been sending me his rhythm guitar lines to the songs he writes, wanting me to fill in the bass-line. Surprisingly, for the first time in my life, I was able to! This alone got me super-hyped up on learning to play better!
Speaking of which, which sub-forum would I post feedback requests on bass-lines that I've done, with links (probably won't use youtube) to the mp3's?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to all things TB has to offer while I continue my adventure of improving my playing.
