Hey there, I just signed up a few days ago and thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm originally a drummer, but I'll quite honest with you, I don't enjoy it. I've been screwing around with bass for a while (about 2 years) but now decided to get serious about it. I actually stumbled across the site while I was trying to find free scale charts xD!
I was mainly inspired by the bassist from Danko Jones, the swagger was bad a**. Oh, and TM Stevens. I just saw some of his demonstrations but that's all it took to blow my mind.
When I'm not playing music I'm basically sleeping, or in school. I'm 19 and am really digging the blues style. Though I'll be honest; I'm a very sub-par bassist for the time being. Hopefully that'll change.
I really enjoy the nature of bass. It's really chill, and really fun to just jam with. It's the only instrument I've tried that I've been really passionate about. I could practice for hours.
