Hey all,
Can't remember how I found TB originally, but really enjoy
this place. Mostly been a lurker, now starting to post a
bit.
Latecomer to music, having started playing drums a couple
years ago. Picked up a pawnshop bass about 1 year ago,
and that got me into bass as well. I keep improving my
stock as I find basses that fit me better.
My 2 favorite basses are a Roscoe LG3005 fretted and a
Roscoe LG3005 Fretless. I own or have owned an Ibanez
ATK 300, Carvin fretless five, and a Fender Marcus Miller 4
string Jazz. I doubt I will part with the Roscoe twins for
anything other than another Roscoe.
I have settled into 5 sting playing, as I really like the spacing
of a five. My goal is more jazz playing than anything else.
Live in a 'burb of Seattle, married with two kids. Mid-40's
and part of that group just re-discovering music later in life.
I have a great teacher named Steve Kim in case you are
looking in the seattle area.

Peace out!

PS. I have a theory about basses and that is "you don't
choose your bass, your bass chooses you...". When you
find the right one, it will feel so good in your hands you
just won't ever want to put it down. Really won't matter
what color or who made it.
It will just tell you it owns you.
Till that time ... keep lookin'!
