| I'm not sure this qualifies, but I play with four or five conga players who are always checking out a new beat. The latest is a 6/8. We just jam, but it's a lot of fun. My job is to play something cool that fits. Recently I've been mixing my playing in where the claves would normally be in a latin beat. It's really cool to play with these guys.
