 back after 15 year hiatus

Hello,
I just joined today and I love the site so far.
I played BASS in various bands about 15 years ago and after one of the bands I was playing in broke up I vowed to never play again(A mostly drug and alcohol induced statement). Less than a month later, almost all of my equipment was robbed from my house. 3 Basses, 2 amps plus a wireless system.
My orginal BASS survived an old orange P-bass. I had the thing pretty much put away into to storage. Then out of the blue I receive a call from a band that was looking for a BASS player and to make a long story short I'm playing again and loving every minute of it.
I have recently bought a new Fender Jazz 24 and a Rumble 100 amp. I'll be looking through these forums for advice on a new amp and the best types of super glue to keep my thumb from falling off of my hand. |
