I'm new to TalkBass. I'm a veteran bass player from NYC. Grew up playing r&b and funk. Strong desire to become a good jazz player. As always, soloing is a must....practicing to become a stronger soloist. Studying Vic Wooten's style right now and listening to Ray Brown solos.
