Howdy All!
I've been perusing here since I picked the bass 3 years ago. Finally decided to join.
Here's the thing, I started playing geetar about 35 yrs ago, 'cuz I thought it was cool (well, cooler than playing bass). A few years ago, I picked up the bass to "help out" another band, and now I can't seem to put the darn thing down!
I have since joined another band as their bass player and I'm totally into it (another one of those "can you help us out, but you ain't leaving" scenarios).
So YES, to me playing bass is way cool. I wish I would have put my biased opinions aside sooner, because I now know what I've been missing.
