HELLO!!!
Ok that's over with. After a long time lerking and using the valuable resource that is Talk Bass I decided it was about time to register. I will sign up to the supported membership when I get home tonight.
Anyway my name is Dave, 36 played bass since I was a wee nipper. Normal sorry, all my mates wanted to be the flash git on the lead guitar but i had more style than that. Then I discovered the likes of Stanley Clarke, Jacco etc and I was hooked for life.
Played in a number of bands over the years and now having the time of my life playing with a band doing all original material. Nothing like turning up to a pub/club and getting the crowd dancing and loving tracks you have written.
Anyway my current baby is a Custom Alembic Essence with a walnut core, Tulip wood top laminate, Purpleheart and Maple laminates, 5 piece neck, Signature Electronics, side LED's
I have had this bass a while and I just can't stop loving it.
My main gigging rig is a Mark Bass III head, Ashdown 2x12 & 1x15 cabs. I'm not an effects junkie but I have just ordered a MXR 82 Bass Envelope which I know I will have some fun with.
Anyway I look forward to getting involved on here.
