I've lurked for a while and finally joined. I live in Fort Collins, about 60 miles north of Denver. I played string bass in Jr. High through High School (1962-68) and took up electric bass when I hit college. I left the old P at home in 1973 and went out, only picking it up again in 1998, so I had a 25-year layoff.
Now I find myself playing in a surf band called Vintage winds (that's code for "Old Farts") and having a ball with a number of basses. Right now the count is:
