Hi all!
I'm a long time lurker & have posted
extremely sporadically in the past, but fell out of the gigging/practicing habit a long time ago and didn't really have anything I was seeking or able to contribute. I've recently renewed my enthusiasm for playing through a bunch of home recording: friends from an old defunct band we were in unearthed some old sessions, and we've been collaborating online to finish the full-length we'd always wanted to make. I'm starting to identify myself as a bassist/musician again, which I have to say is a great feeling.
I would say my tastes are pretty varied, but I basically love all forms of rock, along with some fusion and funk. I'm here really just looking to stay current with music as a whole and to get turned on to musicians and gear I wasn't aware of. I hope to be active and contribute, if nothing else, a healthy amount of dry wit.
