Classical Guitarist turned Classical Bassist

Hello everyone, I'm new to TalkBass, but I've heard about it for a while. I felt like signing up since I actually play Double for the first time, as of this semester. I started bowing about a month ago, and brought home my Standup about 3 months ago. It's a Scott Cao, and I like it quite a bit, not bad for a starter I guess.

Anyways, the forum asked me to post here, and I am.

Few facts:

I'm a music major
I work in a Instrument Consignment store
I've been a guitarist, Flamenco to Blues, but I always adored the bass.
I have little classical upbringing or anything like that, but I'm very very hooked.

I have years of information to start pouring over, so I'm going to stop posting and start reading now.
