I'm new to TB and to playing bass.

I'm a Louisiana boy bound for the military in April, and after years of fretting i'll be another one of those guys that picks up the instrument only to neglect it a month or two later i finally gave into the urge and settled with a Regal RD-05 Dobro Bass and absolutely love it.

Been trying to teach my self what i can through my friends, Songsterr.com, and what i can remember from the days i used to play piano.

I'm hoping to use this forum to learn as much as i can about playing and the instrument itself, when time permits between work and commitments.

Don't thank me quite yet. Not military personnel until i complete Basic. But thanks regardless. The support is very appreciated.
