Converting from guitar to bass...

I've been playing on and off for 20 years. Can play master of Pup. but am sick of not being able to enjoy myself, looking around and just jamming. For the last two weeks I've been listening to you all with "Warwick" that I'm sure sounds awsome but don't have big $$ to. "Spector" which I guess Alex from Canible Corps just adopted. But in my searching, going all over I found that esp has alot more to offer as far as "active" pickups, three band Eq, and thru neck bod. I've read reviews from all sides because this is my money, but I see in the long run Warwick which I cannot aford, Spector totally non attractive, Dean, Cort, Alerverez, Bc. I want a through neck for sound and security. Bc looks good but the best I've found comes with a 2 b eq and bolt on neck.. Esp from what I hear has groundshaking low end and they come with 3 band actve eq. Thru body, emg 35's active. which I see scoop, but can be brought up and out with ya know?

I would recommend a Squier P... They're humble, but with a fresh set of strings they sound really good for how much they cost... My next purchase is a Tobias Growler, you can't go wrong with a Growler
