Hi everybody. I'm an old fart, spent most of my life in SoCal and moved to Az a few years ago. Not many musicians to talk with here in the desert (not like SoCal anyway), so here I is.
Started playing bass back in 1969 and left Brass and guitar behind for the most part. I'm not into appendage pulling so the degrees and aquantances as well as techniques I help father will be missing here. I am just here to be a fellow bassist.

Welcome to Talkbass! I can relate a bit to your comment about a shortage of musicians to talk with. I moved from the Dallas area, where I was in two bands and had a ton of music contacts, to a small town in Arkansas. Now the only musicians I have to talk to are the other musicians in my church.

Thanks embellisher! Yes going from a couple hundered down to just over a dozen has been rough (was way to close to LA). Still have a few old amp customers that make the trip to Az and back but it's just not the same?
