DeVilli Upright Bass

I currently play a Fender Jazz and a Guild Fretless. I've been looking at moving to an upright acoustic and have noticed the DeVilli (Chinese) basses advertised on Ebay for around $500. Does anyone know anything about the quality and playability of these instruments.

Any comments would be appreciated.
