doghouse bass

hi friends,my name is joe. Im a country boy from wv who loves to play music. Im trying to decide on an enexpensive doghouse bass. my knowlege of the quality of basses out there is kinda limited. not much demand for the sale of them in my area. if anyone has any info on Merano Gianetti basses,I would appreciate your input.
