Drummer/Percussionist/Bassist introduction

Hi, I'm a newbie here.

Hi, everyone!

I've been a professional drummer/percussionist/producer
for over 30 years but I've also, as a live looping artist, played electric bass guitar (and a few ethnic bass instruments) for about 15 years.

I love bass and frequently compose with one of several basses in my collection (Turner Renaissance Fretless 4 String,
Custom Fender P-J 4 String, Guild Hollow Body 4 String, Hohner Beatle Bass, a couple of 3/4 scale custom basses, Carlo Robelli 12-string, Ashbory Silicon String mini-fretless, Kala Bass Ukulele (newest addition and incredibly cool tiny bass), Guitaron from Mexico, Sentir from Morocco).

I've also been blessed to have done gigs (as a trapset drummer or multi-instrumentalist live looper) with a few famous and inpsirational bassists in my life (Michael Manring, Steve Lawson, Arild Andersen, Paul Jackson and several others).

I wanted to post that I have a trio gig with the venerable
Stu Hamm (and leader, William Taylor Prichard-guitar) in San Francisco this coming Monday night). I'm incredibly excited about this opportunity.

I searched the FAQS and the forum lists and was not sure where it would be appropriate to post these details and I want to be really sure that I don't offend or unintentionally break the forum rules (which is why I won't post the details until I hear from someone whether this is appropriate or not).

Is this the appropriate place to post the details or should I put them elsewhere?

With complete respect and deep love for all things in the bass frequencies........

Great to have you with us!

Look forward to hearing what you like to hear from a bassist as a drummer who really knows it.
