New bassist here. Played various percussion instruments in a school band for a while, then later played guitar on and off for a few years, and then discovered the wonders of jazz bass after listening to a Stanley Jordan recording. Never been the same since. Don't wanna be, either :P.
Gotta say you all look like a really swell community, quite a lot of good info floating around too. Hope I can eventually put some of it to good use. |
