New here, been playing bass for about 12 years now. I recently got a fretless bass, a Carvin LB75A and I feel reinvigorated for my love of the instrument and of music. I spent 2 years attempting to study the cello, and while I enjoyed the instrument, I just didn't feel it was for me. I really just wanted to be a bassist. While I'd still love to study the cello as an amateur, I feel as though I've really found myself in the fretless. I feel excited again to be a musician, to be studying and again remember why I've spent so much money on what once was a hobby. I felt so excited I decided to join this forum to be around fellow bassist. |
