Hello, this is my first time here. I have been attempting to find information about a bass I have and thought maybe someone out there could assist me. I have a Fender Jazz that has a precision neck on a jazz body. The neck has a date stamp of Dec 1963, I could not find any stamps or other markings that would tell me the year of the body. I bought the bass in the early 80's from a guy who tells me that he was the 2nd owner and that the bass came from the factory with this setup. I am trying to confirm this or if the original owner matched the neck and body. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !!
