Hello everyone! My name's Andrew and I'm 23 (24 next month) and I've been playing bass (fretless only) for about 3 or 4 years. I own an SX 5-string fretless for now, but I'm looking to focus more on the bass and get a nice new one and a good rig. I've also been playing guitar for 12 years.
My favorite bass player, and in fact favorite musician, composer and reason I even play music is Mick Karn. So any tips as to how to get close to his tone would be very welcome.
What would be the best subforum on here to ask for tone/gear advice?
