Hi!
I'm a bass player who's been playing for 10 years, with a recent 6 year hiatus as a guitar player. So, I've only jumped back into bass in the last 6 months. I'm an avid reader of TB and have loved getting great advice from such a knowledgable crew of musicians. So, I just thought I'd say hello!
I play blues, country, rock and motown with my band, Twice as Good, and we're essentially the house band for a popular casino in Northern California (Steady Friday, Saturday, and Sundays gigs for a few years... but I just joined recently.) And that's how I make my living doing what I love.
I started out playing bass in my high school jazz band, and moved onto playing with various groups at the local junior college, and have played with several jazz trios around Nor-Cal. I love playing funk and rock, and am a Fender man, all the way!
I worship Victor Wooten, Stuart Hamm, Paz Lenchantin, and hope someday to play on stage with any of those three! (And I will, too!!)
And from now on, I'll be posting regularly! Rock on!
