Hey, finally got around to signing up and joining the ranks of bass players online. Been playing bass since middle school, high school senior now. Music influence wise I guess a bit of it all, I love Coltrane, grew up on Beatles, obsessed with Mars Volta, play a lot of dub, still have my parents motown vinyls, just got into The Roots. Just sort of general idea of what I'm into, too much to list though.
Also I have an audition for Berklee on bass today and have been up all night/day out of excitment and fear, going to play Darling Dear by The Jackson 5, Jamerson laid down a crazy bass line for this one. Also I'm a guitard and trombonist which was my main instrument but I converted.
