Greetings from 18 blocks away from Dave's

Hey, first post here. And no, I'm not a true bass player. I sang lead in a few rock bands back in the '60's and '70's and along the way got so I played some drums, some guitar, some bass, some keyboards on a few songs. And actually became a credible rhythm player. Then I quit.
The last few years I've rekindled my efforts at playing guitar and discovered I'm kind of an equipment freak... over a dozen guitars and a half dozen amps, keyboard and a full set of Slingerlands now fill the basement.
I've also collected a couple bass guitars... first a short scale Cruise by VMI, which I re-did and made very playable. And a couple days ago I scored a Fernandes P-Bass, kind of an accident really, but then I discovered that it's actually a very nice bass. Now, I feel the need to add some in-home bass lessons to my regimen, and if I'm ever going to finish my music room, I need to find a decent bass amp to add to the collection.
So apologies to all you good bass players, but hey, singers are important too... aren't they?

Oh, on other forums I'm Cassidy but that was taken. So I also used to have a nickname and it looks like I'm stuck with it again.
Thanks for reading.

Sierra

And yes, I live 18 blocks away from Dave's guitar shop. I'm in there twice a week, so if you need anything just holler.

Hmmmm, not a big welcoming committee here...

anyhow, this morning I picked up a used TKO115 to play my P-bass through so I feel almost like a bass player now.
