Greetings all...

Hey everyone... Thought I'd drop in to say hullo... The name is Eric. I'm 45 and from the Milwaukee area. I joined up a few days ago, mostly because I found that one of your mods, Kelly Lee, has the exact same white B.C. Rich Innovator bass that I do... Was looking to find out a bit more of info about it. To be fair, I'm not so much of a bass player... I just keep the Innovator around so that I can track simple bass grooves on recordings... I've also got a bunch of Strats and old amps... and I sing... but for the most part, I just multi-track stuff for others and myself, as I got out of the business of being a front man a number of years ago.

If you're interested in hearing some of my creations, they can be found here... Masterthis Dot Net Note... this isn't a plug for my recording business... Currently, my day job is making it difficult to find the time to record anything... and it doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon... It's something I take as a good thing.

One other thing of note... I bought another bass yesterday as an 8th grade graduation present for my daughter... She had sniped my Innovator and said I wasn't getting it back until I got her one of her own... HA!... Anyway, it's a Nelsonic Atomic Series... and even though Nelsonic seems to have been out of business for a couple years, it's a brand new bass... It's really nice... Admittedly, I don't know basses all that well, but I've built some guitars, so I go on what I know about that... The finish is flawless, no globs of glue anywhere, no sharp fret edges, no significant buzzing or dead spots on the neck, low action, decent enough hardware, stays in tune... and it sounds good plugged in... I can't seem to find any info at all out on the innerwebz, something I'm pretty good at... The thing about this find is that you don't normally find a brand new neck-thru bass for the $150 I paid for it, even when it's of Korean origin... My uninformed guess is that this may have been a "production example" supplied to Nelsonic by the factory, which got liquidated to the local MusicGoRound when the company went kaput... Anyone know something that I don't about this bass? If it's not obvious, this is my daughter with her new bass... She looks pretty happy eh?

Anyway... I'll stop with yammering now... good to be aboard... Don't know if I'll post much, but I'll be around...
