It was a major honor to find this site.
I have been a bass player for only about six months now, and I do not know of many bassists, so I am open to many recommendations. I have recently taught myself all the content in the Hal Leonard triple bass method with the exception of improvisation and slap and pop, so any help with those two techniques would be very wonderful.
