Same story - me from Maryland. All sorts of percussion and drums - acoustic/electronic. Some syths and regaular guitars. But all drummers want to be bass players and all bassists want to be drummers (well, the bass players here can answer that).
I am looking to pick up an SX PJB bass - since it has the combo of sound/performance and cost.
Anyway, it should be a fun ride!
