Hello! I'm new to the TB forums as well as to bass playing. I played the guitar when I was younger for about 4 years but havent touched one in over 5.
I went out yesterday and tried out a couple fender jazz basses as well as a couple guitars and well, I joined this forum for a reason
. I havent quite decided on what Bass I will be picking up, something in the range of $300-$400 and a small amp (being as I live in an apartment) to match along with it. I also figured if I'm going to learn, I'll learn on a good sounding instrument (not the $100 bass you get in the packages).
