I'm not new at being Irish, nor am I new to playing bass, but I've finally found this site and have lurked for a week or so. Bit the bullet and joined this morning, and would like to say a huge Thank You for the fantastic knowledge-base that exists here.
Have played on and off since the age of 13 [30 years ago
], and still have my first bass - a fretless P-Bass copy. Also own a '78 Guild B-301, '78 B-301F and a '85 Wal Custom fretless.
Bought a MIJ '75 RI Jazz Bass body on the 'Bay last night and am now in the process of gathering the rest of the parts together before assembling what I hope will be a sweet bass.
