Hi all,
Saw the forum and decided to join up.
My name is Justin and I am from the US (specifically the NY area). I am a hobbyist and thought this forum would be a cool place to discuss technique/gear. By day I work in the realm of sound design (media/sample libraries).
I have played bass for a while, some years less and some year more, but lately have been playing a whole lot trying to improve my technique. I have a couple of not so great basses, but they get the job done for me. One is an older Ibanez I fitted with some decent pickups and another is a much older Ibanez I defretted myself since it was getting little use.
Currently I am looking at picking up a Fender J-Bass, which I have always wanted and finally seem to have the finances to afford one.
