Wink Greetings from the Otherworld

Hi everyone!

Another newbie here I registered to know more about some gear I plan to buy (Sansamp BDI or VT Bass, Micro Q Tron, Squier Jazz Bass Vintage Modified...) and discuss about my favourite bass players who are Chris Squire (Yes), Geddy Lee (Rush) and Pete Trewavas (Marillion).

I'm a huge fan of old progressive rock and bands like Yes, Mike Oldfield, Rush, Magma, Genesis, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Van Der Graaf Generator and many more...
Marillion, Porcupine Tree, Oceansize, Von Hertzen Brothers, The Mars Volta...

I play and record music for my project called Spleen Arcana - you can download my first album for Free here: http://spleenarcana.bandcamp.com/

My bass is a Fame Baphomet IV actually and I like to find a Jazz Bass someday.

That's all for now... Thank you for reading I hope that my english is not too bad as it's not my mother tongue

Welcome to Talkbass. That is a nice looking bass you have there. You also have some great influences listed as your favorite players. Follow those guys, and you will go far. Geddy Lee is probably my biggest influence.

Hi everyone!

I started some weeks ago the recording of Spleen Arcana's second album

I write a studio diary here : http://www.spleenarcana.com/category.../second-album/ where you can watch some videos of the work in progress

Thanks to your support, I hope to take the independant road again and self releasing it.

Still a lot of keyboards and guitars to record, as the drums and vocals (recording planned in August) but the songs don't sound like demos anymore and features a lot of mellotron and changes

Don't forget to subscribe to the newsletter to be kept informed : http://www.spleenarcana.com/newsletter-subscription/

Thanks for your interest

Hi there!

Some updates of my project... Recording goes well but I had new ideas and I'm looking for a vocalist who would be interested to sing on my second album. I'm not sure on anything yet but who knows...

Feel free to contact me if you are interested at spleenarcana AT gmail.com

Thanks
