Greetings from SE Georgia

I'm P.J. and have been playing electric bass for awhile. My first real band experience goes back as far as May 1971.
Since then, I have been in a variety of bands from basic hard-core C&W to some progressive rock, country and some R&B.
During my 20 years with the U.S.Navy, from which I've retired (at the end of 1998), I have played with some gigging bands. I did not waste time with the "squid bands" of low-achievers that waste time with jam sessions before falling apart and sinking into being forgotten.
Currently, I'm "between gigs," (which means that I'm not a member of any band) which will hopefully change soon.
