Hi, one and all! I've been loitering for a while, and finally decided to register. Looks like a cool place!
I've been playing 4-string electric bass for about 30 years and am currently "only" on my fourth instrument. First was a short-scale thingy, second was a sunburst Squire beastie with a twisted neck, third is the Aria Pro II FB Series which I still have, and fourth is the recently aquired Vintage V940B. They get played through a Laney PL100 Pro Linebacker combo, which is more than enough to shake the foundations!
I've never played in a band, and can't currently read music, but I'm trying to learn. I just love the sound and emotional "feel" of the bass.
You can expect loads of daft questions, and just occasionally I might be able to contribute something from my own limited experience!
