Hey, I play bass and I should be moving to New Zealand from the UK in a couple of years.

Which part of NZ do you live in? ie. North/South Auckland/Christchurch.

What's it like being a bass player in NZ? Any decent music education over there?

Sorry about all the questions, but it'd help me out if you could give me some info on what it's like being an NZ bassist, I will be one someday.
