I'm Alice, 16, I live in England.
I've been playing the double bass (and getting lessons) since i was 9, then from that about 2 years ago i was given a bass guitar, which i picked up pretty quickly.
I'm about Grade 6 standard (UK Trinity board..)
I play in jazz workshops and will hopefully be joining a new orchestra soon.

Welcome!

I started on double bass in 4th grade in the US school system. Stopped in 8th grade. I wish I would have kept up on it! I tried to get back into it in college, but again gave up after two years.

I got my first electric bass in 6th grade and have never stopped playing that!

I hope you keep playing both! They are the world's greatest instruments!

Hi MissPenguin and welcome, from a fellow new member. I think it's great that you had such an early introduction to a musical instrument. I always wished I had that opportunity, but I started later in life and I'm loving everything about it. So yeah, welcome!
