Have SVT4-Pro & Ampeg 1832 but want more 'punch'

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an SVT4-Pro which has a bunch of power, and the 1832 Ampeg cab (1-18", 2x8", 2-6") but just not 'punchy' enough. I've taken my amp to SamAsh and Guitar Center to 'test drive' other cabs. I like the David Eden but pricey..
Can I get that David Eden 'punch' at less $$ ??
tks.

Hello I am new here. I dont know your full situation, but I have a mesa boogie stack (400+, 4-10", 15") . And I am convinced that the 400+ is the answer for "punch" as long as your cabs can handle it. That is pricey though. You might just try different strings, pickups, eq settings, compression, or your string attack.
