Headway Double Bass Pickup

I stumbled across a webpage featuring this pickup and wonder whether anyone has actually tried it? It is a piezo pickup routed into the underside of each foot of the bridge.
Headway only list one user: Smutty Smith and from my research he appears to be an American player from the 1980s.
At present, I use the David Gage Realist to good effect on two of my instruments and a Fishman Full Circle on another. All are routed through my trusty GK MBS 150 Combo.

I have used the head way and I can saqy its better than all the pickups out there,£220. but alas I am a sucker for quality and will go a stage further, I will be buying the Willson pickup £500, but the Headway is good, it has the volume and is active, you have too EQ all the mid out,
