Hello to all, this is my first post and I am looking to start playing bass guitar (4 string left handed). However I am in the position whereby I am happy to spend some good money for the right guitar (up to $3000 or £1500, my 50th birthday present to ME) but I simply do not have a clue on where to start. I went to a music shop in Spain and asked about a seriously good quality instrument and was recommended the Ibanez prestige 1000 series, but I don't see it in L/hand in their brochure. I also like the look of the Hofner violin HELP!!!!!!!
