I heard "These boots were made for walkin" I'm thinking at about age 6. I wanted to make that sound. Studied double in grade school and switched to bass guitar per cost. Played French Horn in the 7th Army band. I choose not to make a career out of playing per having a family. So, this is just fun for me. Still love bass the most. I'm now playing bass guitar and an NS NXT 4. I've spent time with praise groups, a big band, and a few rock bands. Love them all. The big band kept me the most active as there were always spur groups for those who didn't want to pay the cost of 17 performers. I'm a groove hound and a tempo Nazi. Nuttin fancy. Been plunkin on something with four strings for over 50 years now, come to think of it. Still learning. That's the joy of music.
I guess that's a reasonable introduction.
