Hey everyone.
I'm Mikey. Live on Merseyside, opposite Liverpool in the UK. I've been playing bass for just over a year. I enjoy all styles of music (well, nearly all) Influencial bass players include Steve Harris, John Entwistle, Flea and Fieldy. I can play anything, with a bit of practice. However, I can't play slap. I have just recently ordered a DVD on the subject so I will be practicing the technique soon. I play with the walking finger technique, not a big fan of picks.
I'm currently in an experimental swing/rock band. It's going pretty good and I'm currently learning My Generation byt The Who. All most got it, just the last two parts of the solo are doing my head in!
