Hey, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am new to bass (will be getting one next week) but not new to music.

Welcome to the forum, Reverendus,

What kind of bass are you getting? I'm new to the bass as well. My Fat Strings are stretched across a Epi EB-3.

This is a great forum; I hope you like it too.

I'm not sure yet. The Praise Band Leader at my church is taking me to pick one out some time next week.
