Hi Kevin, Im new too both in this forum and with the bass; Im 25 too and just began practicing. I believe music has no age and it's never too late to learn. Welcome and Good luck!

Welcome to both of you! I'm St. Kevin. I've been playing for 13 years. I'm pretty mediocre, and I'm not much of a gearhead. I signed up on the forum about a month ago. Glad y'all are here!

Hey another Kevin! thanks for your welcome. 13years make you a maestro I guess... would you like to share some experience?

As I said, I'm pretty mediocre. I spent about a decade just playing songs from tabs, but then I joined a band that played original songs. I didn't just want to follow the guitarist's lines so I started learning theory. It has drastically improved my understanding and song writing. It also gives me specific goals when practicing instead of just jamming which has in turn improved my technique and accuracy.
