Hi everyone!
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum -- I'm fairly new to the world of online chat rooms (I probably spend too much time on the internet as it is), but I stumbled upon "Talk Bass" and it seems right up my alley. I have to say, I have a totally renewed sense of enthusiasm for playing after having purchased a Barker Bass "B1" model over the summer --- WOW, I LOVE THIS BASS!!! Due to playing regularly over a number of years, I started to experience a lot of pain in my left shoulder and wrists, but this bass has totally remedied that (it didn't take long to adjust, either---it's an upright/Precision hybrid---but even if it did, the physical relief I feel when playing the Barker makes performing FUN for me again). Woo hoo! Anyway, take care everybody. I look forward to checking in every once in a while. (I'd especially love to hear from fellow Barker Bass converts!) Bye now. -Anne |
