Hi, talkbassers!
So glad I found this forum; I've been lurking for a short time and enjoying all the great threads on one of my favourite subjects!
I'm one of those people who switched from guitar to bass because my band's bassist moved abroad, but these days I enjoy playing bass more than guitar, laying down a good foundation for the music, grooving, cooperating with the drummer.
I've been away from playing severeal years (busy being a parent, studying, etc), but now I'm looking for a band again, anything from pop, rock or funk. I've only ever played fretless, but it doesn't suit the kind of music I'm looking to play now, so I'm GAS'ing for a good fretted bass. But I'll better post my questions regarding that in the bass forum.
