Been posting for a couple of weeks, mostly accepting help and advice in the bass guitar > effects forum. Wish I'd been here longer.
I've been playing for close to 20 years, sometimes just fretless, other times just bass guitar, from three-piece rock bands to a ten-piece funk band (while I was in the USA a few years ago). No cover bands so far. I play a thumb 4 through a Hartke head with an ashdown 410 with a couple of octavers, couple of filters and a couple of distortions. I've also got a fretless 6 on order but they're taking their sweet time delivering it.
Getting back into gigging after quite a long absence, grateful to find such a great group of knowledgeable and helpful people.
