Hello fellow bass souls

Hi. My name's Stuart Ross and I'm a bass player.

I guess the first time I turned to bass was during a difficult time in my life, when I needed something to hold me up. I was a pro drummer at the time. I had no friends and no job, and was at the end of my tether.

It was a Westone Thunder III - pretty heavy for my first time I know - but it gave me what I wanted, and more. It made me feel good. I did it again and again.

Looking back, I guess I was hooked from the very first time I tried it, and since then I've played a bass nearly every day... sometimes first thing in the morning... sometimes even on my own.

I'm not proud of myself, but I've come here and admitted for the first time, that I'm a bass player.
