I guess i should introduce myself as a newcomer to the board. I've played bass since the age of fifthteen and that gives me around 20+ years of playing but not always so active. Played a lot in various bands in my hometown til i reached the age of 23 years. After that the bass was almost left untouched for various reasons. The last couple of years i have picked up the bass again and i am playing every day. Mostly for myself assisted with a sequenserprogram on my pc and a little in a less serious band just for fun. i have always been slap oriented and currently trying to incorperate chords and doublestops in my playing. I love the grooving of mister Wooten and similar bassplayers. I have been faithfull to my 1987 modulus quantum fourstring the whole time and i am currently eagerly awaiting the arrival of a quantum fiver from california as they are to expencive here in Norway  |
