Unhappy Hello & I Need Your Help!

Hello to all-I'm a country bass player in the central MO area
and this is my 1st post. I've been at it long enough to have
back problems and recently had a local luthier put a Warmoth
hollow jazz together for me. So far it has been a dissapointment and about the same weight as my trusty old
Precision. Anyway I'm looking for something to ease the
pain-I'm ashamed to say it-but I'd gladly sacrifice sound for
something that was more comfortable to play. Any help or
suggestions would be appreciated. I've tried the Fender
Precision Lyte but can't get used to a rosewood fingerboard.
I kind of remember seeing something on ebay that caught my
attention but I can't relocate it. It was a thinline sunburst
something or another-kind of like Lakland maybe-it had a maple neck and it seems like the tuners might have been 2
on each side and it seems like it was advertised as a light-
weight bass. Can anyone remember that bass or did I dream
it? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated-as things
stand I can't make any $ playing as my chiropractor ends up
with it all! Thanks.
